Jonathan Keyes is a music producer, songwriter and entrepreneur.
He wrote his first song at the age of 13 and has continued to work hard and dedicate himself to the craft of songwriting.
As a graduate of UCLA Music School, with a degree in Ethnomusicology, he plays 8 instruments including guitar, piano, bass, drums, ukelele, sitar, gamelan, and harmonica.
In 2007, U2 producer Steve Lillywhite hired Keyes to be a West Coast A&R talent manager for Columbia Records.
In 2012, Jonathan Keyes made the key introduction for CEO of Lava Records Jason Flom to executive Natalia Romiszewski, which directly resulted in the signing of Lorde.
Keyes is signed to BMG Chrysalis where he writes songs and produces out of John Legend's studio in NYC.
He has collaborated on songs with Meghan Trainor, Julian Bunetta (One Direction), Bebe Rexha, The Eleven, J.R Rotem and others. Keyes co-wrote "Perfect Two" one of the most viral songs on the internet for Warner Bros. Records.
In June 2013, President of Lava Records, Jason Flom, signed Keyes to Universal Republic Records and Lava Records under the moniker "Blind Scuba Divers". BSD songs are featured in films like 22 Jump Street (Sony Pictures) , Get Hard (Warner Bros. Picture) and other TV shows on VH1 and MTV.
