Jonathan Keyes is a music producer, songwriter and entrepreneur. He wrote his first song at the age of 13 and has continued to work hard and dedicate himself to the craft of songwriting. As a graduate of UCLA Music School, with a degree in Ethnomusicology, he plays 8 instruments including guitar, piano, bass, drums, ukelele, sitar, gamelan, and harmonica. In June 2013, President of Lava Records, Jason Flom, signed Keyes to Universal Republic Records and Lava Records under the moniker "Blind Scuba Divers". Keyes is managed by Neil Jacobson, an executive at Interscope and Universal. In addition, Jonathan Keyes also has a publishing deal with BMG Chrysalis, where he produces out of John Legend's studio in NYC. Keyes is the co-writer of "Perfect Two" one of the most viral songs in the history of the internet generating over 400 million collective views on YouTube. Blind Scuba Divers (BSD) is the solo artist project of Jonathan Keyes on Lava / Universal Republic Records for Universal Music Group. The EP will be released in 2014.
In 2012, Jonathan Keyes discovered and developed Emmy Palmer, a new singer/songwriter. In addition to cowriting her songs, he became her manager and got her a record deal with Columbia Records. She is currently working on her debut EP release in 2014.
